Growth Hormone Test (GH) or HGH

Growth Hormone Test measures the level of Growth Hormone (GH or HGH) in the blood.

Growth Hormone is produced by the Pituitary Gland and is important for normal bone density and muscle mass, it is also involved in protein synthesis and glucose metabolism. It can also affect heart and kidney function.

Preparation: Fasting for 10-12 hours before testing is recommended and rest for at least 30 minutes prior to collection.
