Creatine or Creatinine (A product of normal muscle metabolism) is a marker that evaluates the health of the kidneys, since kidneys are the primary source of elimination of Creatinine from the body.

Other reasons of high Creatinine levels are: Excessive meat ingestion and excessive exercise and dehydration.

This test is done over a blood sample.

Preparation: Fasting is not necessary for this test.
